Pope’s Perry is made by our neighbours at Avenue Cottage in Much Marcle, Herefordshire by the extended family of Janet and Nicholas Pope.
Pope’s Perry is made with ‘Blakeney Red’ perry fruit, from trees planted in 1983 by Janet and Nicholas. The perry juice is left to ferment naturally for 18 months or more in a small rock cellar underneath Avenue Cottage.
Blakeney Red perry pears produce a refreshing, clear and well balanced perry packed with flavour. Lightly carbonated.
The labels for the perry bottles have been created by Nicholas, a contemporary sculptor www.nicholaspope.co.uk
